David: A Man After God's Own Heart
We will be taking a few snapshot looks at the life of David. He was a faithful son, envied brother, loyal friend, brave warrior, excellent follower, failed husband and father, and model king. In all the ebb and flow of life he is called a man after God's own heart. He also is celebrated as the king from whom the King of kings would descend. David teaches us a lot about life, leadership, loss and legacy. We can find our lives intersecting with his in so many places. We will draw some life principles to help us in the journey of life. We will also look for connections of the kingly throne out of which the line of the Messiah would be born.
