MISSIONS
MISSIONS
Proclaiming the gospel through works of compassion - across the world and across the street.
God invites us to work together to be His hands, feet and voice in mission to the world. Stanwich World Missions offers opportunities to participate in local, domestic, and global ministries in a way that maximizes the impact of your missions giving and hands-on service.

"The church doesn't have a mission. God's mission has a church."
Most years we have the opportunity to visit and work alongside our mission partner Last Call Ministries, which provides quality education rooted in the Christian faith for elementary school students in Guatemala City, and outreach to neighbors in need.
Team members don't need special skills, just a desire to help our Guatemalan brothers and sisters and to connect with them and other team members in worship, fellowship, and prayer.
Opportunities To Serve
Prayer Shawl Ministry
This ministry offers the opportunity to use yarn and needles, along with the skills God has given us, to offer tangible expressions of God's love. As we work on the shawls, we pray for the recipients. This ministry has made such a difference in the connection of our church and in showing God's love to one another.
When the shawls are finished, they are consecrated and given to people for various reasons: comfort during illness or grief; the celebration of a milestone such as a birth, marriage, or graduation; or just as a reminder of God's care.
Anyone who knits, crochets, or quilts is invited to come! For more information, contact Laura LaSpalluto at missions@stanwichchurch.org.
