Partnership To End Human Trafficking (PEHT)

"Adopt a Room"

We are so excited that our mission partner, The Partnership to End Human Trafficking (PEHT), is about to open its doors to women who are coming out of human trafficking.  The PEHT House will be a place of healing and restoration and we are eager to make it a welcoming place.  Stanwich has "adopted" a room in the house located in Bridgeport and we are looking for volunteers help make it special.

Ways to help:

  • Please pray for the staff and the women they will serve.
  • Volunteers can sign up for one of our scheduled work days: to paint or to help set up with the furnishings.
  • You can also donate furnishings on their Amazon Wish List.  Please be sure to choose "PEHT Wish List" from the shipping address options at checkout.

Proclaiming the gospel in word and in works of compassion across the world - and across the street.

As a community, and as individuals, God invites us to be His hands and feet and voice in mission to the world.   Stanwich World Missions offers a way to participate in local, domestic and global ministries in a way that maximizes the impact of your missions giving and hands-on service.

" The church doesn't have a mission. God's mission has a church..."

February 7 -14, 2020

This is a great opportunity to visit and work alongside our mission partner Last Call Ministries, which provides quality education rooted in the Christian faith for elementary school students in Guatemala City, a church community, as well as outreach to neighbors in need.

This always a time of deep fellowship and connection with our Guatemalan brother and sisters and with each other.

For more information, contact Bob Caie @ 203-921-5086 or caiebonn@aol.com.

This ministry uses yarn and needles and the skill that God has given us to offer a tangible expression of God’s love to God’s people.  As we work on the shawls, we pray for the recipients; the shawls are then consecrated and given away.

Shawls can be given for a variety of reasons: comfort during illness or grief; celebration of a milestone, such as a birth, marriage or graduation, or just as a reminder of God’s care.

Anyone who knits, crochets or quilts and is interested in learning more is invited to come! If you’d like more information, contact Laura LaSpalluto (missions@stanwichchurch.org) or 203-461-8175.
