One of our Community Partners, Jewish Family Services of Greenwich, is a full resettlement agency offering services to those displaced from their homes in Afghanistan, Ukraine, Haiti, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador etc. In addition to resettlement assistance, they offer a full host of services including Supermarketing for Seniors, Compassionate Companions for seniors and the disabled, assistance in providing meals to local schools and running a year-round farmstand. The Pacific House Emergency Shelter offers food and housing to men in need in downtown Stamford. They do have showering facilities and they need the following items, please consider these donations to them: white cotton wash cloths, white cotton bath towels, single use*/travel size: soap, shampoo, razors, shaving cream, toothpaste, deodorant (*Do not bag, provide loose items).

Our Missions Partner Bridgeport Rescue Mission needs our help to fill their pantry and closets for those who come to them for food and shelter. Please consider them in your shopping adventures!

Our Stamford neighbor and Community Partner INSPIRICA feeds approximately 15 women at their Emergency Women's shelter each day. Would you like to deliver a meal or provide dinner for them? Here is a link to their Volunteer Hub for those who feel led to serve these women through their MEAL PROGRAM. Anyone can sign up for as many meals as they want and as far ahead in the calendar as you want. Eight Days of Hope serves as the hands and feet of Christ – providing light in the face of darkness, restoration in the face of destruction. They are a national organization that responds to disasters across the country, helping to rebuild homes, communities, and lives. Sign up for the newsletter to receive updates, and learn about upcoming Disaster Relief efforts.

Sign up as a Volunteer on the FOOD RESCUE app to connect food donors including bakeries, grocers, farms etc. to directly transfer nutritious excess food to social service agencies serving individuals experiencing food insecurity. Most rescues take less than one hour to complete. No commitment is required: volunteers can choose any rescue that fits their schedule and can participate as often as desired (weekly, monthly, etc.).
