Discover Stanwich is a class where you have the opportunity to learn more about Stanwich Church - our beliefs, our ministries, our vision. It is a great place to have your questions answered about Stanwich Church and to learn about our membership process.


For us - and for you, we hope - membership at Stanwich means uniting with others who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and share the desire to live, learn and grow according to the teachings of the Bible, and become an active participant, letting God lead us as a faith community.

 

We do not assume that your participation in Discover Stanwich means that you will necessarily choose membership. Our intention and hope is to provide you with the information you need to prayerfully consider Stanwich Church as your spiritual home.

SECOND STEP:

Membership at Stanwich

Why Church membership? Church membership gives individuals a way to express a commitment to a family of believers. It's a way to show one's commitment to the church body externally. It takes courage to step forward, make this commitment/vow to a church, and keep them. However, there is a great blessing in making a verbal commitment of love to a group of believers.

 

About two to three times a year we offer membership to those who have taken the Discover Stanwich class and are ready to become members at Stanwich Church. If you are interested in membership you can email Craig Packnick.
