APRIL 27, 9AM - 2:30PM

What Is Intentional Parenting?

Our time will be broken into two programs; we will begin the day with Raising Boys and Girls. David helps you understand and explore the hearts, minds, and ways of boys and the vital role we play on the journey from boy to manhood. Sissy dives into the heart of girls to help adults understand the different stages of development for girls: what is normal, what is not, and how to relate effectively. The class is filled with practical tips and suggestions. You will receive fresh insight and much-needed encouragement for the road of raising boys and girls. Raising Boys and Girls will be broken down into Raising Boys and Girls: Kids (covering birth - elementary) and Raising Boys and Girls: Teens (covering adolescence).

The second portion of our program will be on Intentional Parenting. Parent out of love and not out of fear. Spending real time connected, engaged time with your son or daughter with no iPhones, iPads, or iAnything in between. These are a few of the ideas talked about in this seminar. It is one born out of countless conversations had with parents over the years...conversations where parents want to talk about how to be more consistent, patient, connected, balanced, a word more intentional with their children of all ages. This seminar is the response. In it, there will be given specific ideas on being a consistent parent, being a patient parent, being a connected parent, being a balanced parent, and, finally, what it looks like to be free. Our hope is that you will leave this seminar refreshed with humor, truth and grace and more confident to parent with all of the love, mercy, and intentionality with which God continues to parent you.
