The following guidelines are in place to help us follow best practices as we strive to love God and love our neighbors.
When can I reserve a seat?
Reservations will open at 12 p.m. on Mondays.
Can I “release” my seat reservation if I end up unable to attend?
If you or your household are unable to attend the service and wish to give up your seat reservations, please reply to your confirmation email or to Kimberly@stanwichchurch.org.
Where should I enter the Sanctuary?
Upon arrival, we ask all adults to enter through the sanctuary entrance of the church building.
Will there be physical distancing in the pews?
Yes, we have placed markers on all pews inside the sanctuary. Please sit anywhere there is a marker.
Will I need to wear a mask?
Yes. In order to protect those entrusted to us, masks will be required for anyone inside the building. While we recommend the same for children ages under 5, they will not be required. We recognize that this is not everyone’s preference, but we strongly believe that it is vital for continuing in-person services.
How often is the church sanitized or clean?
We santize all areas of the church that are occuppied after our Sunday service. Then additionally a cleaning on Monday and Fridays each week.
Will we sing?
Yes! We value corporate worship, and we want to lift up our voices together to praise God. Please note that masks will be required for the duration of the service.
Will we take communion?
Yes, you'll be able to pick up prepackaged communion elements on your way into the Sanctuary. If you have a gluten allergy, please notify the volunteer and they will provide you with a prepackaged gluten-free cracker.
Can I give a paper check or financial contribution?
Yes. You can drop a check or your envelope in the giving box located in the northex or we also invite you to give online.
What if I’m not feeling well or have symptoms consistent with COVID-19?
We appreciate that you want to be with us on Sunday, but please stay home! If you or someone in your household is exhibiting symptoms, we ask that you do not come to service. In addition, if you or someone you’ve been in close contact with has tested positive for COVID-19, please do not attend services for 14 days following your most recent interaction with them.
Is there Children or Student Services?
Please view our children and student pages for ministry program scheduling. For now, Sunday programming is still online. However, we are able to offer a limited Kid’s Church and nursery care in our 9 AM. Nursery is for children 4 years old and younger, Kid’s Church is for kids 5 years old through 5th grade.
To have your child participate, register your family (including children) for the service here on our website, then Ann Roth, Director of Children's Ministry will e-mail you by Friday to confirm your child has a spot in children’s ministry for that Sunday. You MUST be registered to have your child attend Kid’s Church.

Are we able to walk around inside the church?
The bathrooms are available for your usage. We encourage any social gatherings or converssations to be had outside on the church grounds.
