What is Holy Week?

On Easter Sunday, our sadness is turned to joy as we celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus from the dead.

Holy Week is the last week of Lent,  it begins on Palm Sunday, March 28 the week before Resurrection Sunday (Easter) on April 2.

Maundy Thursday Virtual Dinner

with Bryan Widbin

Thursday, April 1 at 6 PM

Have you ever wondered what it would have been like to actually dine with Jesus and his disciples at the Last Supper?  What the meal was all about?  What the foods and table customs would have been then?  Or maybe you’re wondering why any of this should matter to us today.

If so, you’ll want to be part of a very special evening with us.  We have a special guess Dr. Bryan Widbin who lead us for the evening as we journey back to the early first century for a hands-on experience of the Last Supper.  Just as it would have been celebrated in Jesus’ day.

This will be an evening of food and fun, of history and learning, and of deeper understandings of the death and resurrection of Jesus.  Please register on our website for this Zoom Last Supper experience.

Prayer Vigil

Thursday, April 1 at 8pm through Friday, April 2 at 12PM

On the night Jesus was betrayed, Jesus asked his disciples to pray with him through the night. We carry on that tradition today as we remember his sacrifice. Sign up for an hour. Starting 8 PM on 4/1 until 12 PM on 4/2. You can pray from wherever you are. The church sanctuary will be open for anyone who would prefer to pray there.
