Let's celebrate the anniversary of Commitment Sunday! Stanwich in Stamford is an audacious God-given vision to plant a church in the heart of the city. Members of our congregation have given, and continue to give, sacrificially to see this vision realized. Join Stanwich Elder Chair, Gad Lim, for a short course on "How to Read the Bible: Old Testament Narrative." The Bible was written a long time ago, and the literary conventions then can be different from what they are now. In this session, we'll point out distinctive features of Old Testament narratives, practice looking for them in a passage, and discover what it tells us about the story of the Bible as a whole.
In between services at 10:20 AM in the Meeting Room, join our Pastoral Search Committee for a time of corporate prayer for our search.
Join us for a night of prayer at our Stamford campus as construction continues there. We will pray for God's kingdom come, and his will be done in Stamford, as we lift up the city, other churches and ministries, and timely completion of our building.
