Filling in the Blanks works to address childhood hunger by ensuring that children who lack reliable access to food receive nutritious meals over the weekend. They recognized that while many students depend on free or reduced-price school meals during the week, weekends often leave a critical gap in nutrition. Drawing on their shared commitment to children, community service, and philanthropy, Filling in the Blanks created a weekend meal bag program designed to close that gap! Join us at their Norwalk Warehouse to pack these children’s meals for their weekends!
When: Saturday May 2 from 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Where: Warehouse is located at 346 Main Avenue, Norwalk CT - entrance is at the double doors.
Requirements:
- Volunteers aged 14 and up.
- Wear comfortable closed toe shoes and clothing as you will be working in a warehouse.
- Register by 4/25 online - visit the volunteer booth in Emmaus Hall for instructions on 4/12 or 4/19, or click below to register (three steps: create a login, register, and then complete an online waver).
