Join us this year for an exciting men's and women's weekly bible study at Stanwich Church on Wednesdays led by Todd and Peach Looney. "Exile & Return: A Time to Build" is a study from the Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) that covers eight books of the Old Testament - Ezekiel, Daniel, Ezra, Esther, Haggai, Zechariah, Nehemiah, and Malachi - over thirty weeks. The course begins on Wednesday, September 17th at 7 PM - 8:30 PM, and ends Wednesday, May 6th. There are no meetings November 26, December 24, December 31, January 7, or March 18. The Wednesday February 18 meeting is moved to Tuesday February 17 due to Ash Wednesday.
The study follows the journey of God’s people, who were called to build his kingdom in a foreign land. Their story is our story - we, too, are strangers in a broken world, called to build for his glory. As we explore how God equips and positions his people, we’re challenged to ask: Am I building my life for Christ? Exile and Return reminds us that our time to build is now.
