Ash Wednesday marks the first day of Lent in the church calendar. Join us in this season leading up to Easter as we prepare our hearts with prayer, reflection, and the imposition of ashes. We will dedicate the day to Fasting and Prayer, and break fast after the 7 PM Ash Wednesday Service. Nursery care provided for 2 years and younger.
At key moments of transition, whether a challenge or new opportunity, the people of God have regularly focused their conversation with God through fasting and prayer. Stanwich Church is in a season of anticipation of our relaunch of the Stamford campus in our new building. This is a milestone moment in our history, so we join together in this day of prayer and fasting at the start of Lent.
