Corresponding with our sermon series "Encountering the Father's Heart," we are reading the book Beloved by Francis Chan. You are invited to join the broader community in discussing this book on two occasions, Saturday June 27th (chapters 1-3) and Saturday July 18th (chapters 4-6), in anticipation of our Encounter event at the end of July. 

Students who have finished 6th-8th grade by the summer of 2026 are invited for an incredible week with YoungLife's WyldLife at Lake Champion in Glen Spey, NY! Kids often call WyldLife camp “the best week ever” because it was created with middle school kids in mind. Kids go to camp with their leaders and friends where they eat amazing food, try new adventures, and experience God’s invitation to enjoy life to the full.

Join us for a relaxed and joy-filled summer evening with the women from Stanwich Church! Whether you’re new or have been around for years, this is a chance to connect, laugh, and be encouraged. We can’t wait to see you there!

Stanwich families – and our whole congregation - are invited to enjoy snacks and a showing of the Angel Studios movie David. We hope you can join us for a time of connection, summer fellowship, and intergenerational fun. The movie will be screened in Emmaus Hall, with use of the Courtyard and Lawn throughout the evening. Feel free to bring your own blankets or lawn chairs.

Stanwich will be participating in Bridgeport Rescue Mission's Back to School Block Party on Saturday, August 8th from 11 AM - 3 PM. This fun event serves over 1,000 people providing backpacks and school supplies, face painting and Stanwich Church serving up snow cones! Manning the snow cone machine is easy and great for kids of all ages! For those who cannot attend, we are also providing toiletries for the backpacks. Bridgeport Rescue Mission is a long-time Missions Partner and we are thrilled to walk alongside them serving the people of Bridgeport.

For all those who love to sing, there will be a choral workshop on Saturday, August 29th, from 8:30 AM until 12 PM. This workshop will be co-led by our Minister of Music, Leon Reid, and Dr. M. Roger Holland II, Teaching Professor of Music and Religion and Director of the Spirituals Project at Lamont School of Music, University of Denver. Adults interested in choral singing are invited to attend; attendees should be able to read music.
