Guest Speaker - Brian Dembowczyk

We are so excited to have Brian Dembowczyk, Managing Editor of the Gospel Project speaking on Sunday, March  8 at all three services. Brian earned his D.Min. from the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and an M.Div. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. He and his wife, Tara, have three kids: Joshua, Hannah, and Caleb. Prior to joining The Gospel Project, he served in local church ministry for 17 years, primarily in family and discipleship ministry. Brian is the author of three books.

The Gospel Project is the curriculum that our church body utilizes each Sunday.  "The Gospel Project points people of all ages to the good news of the gospel and equip them to live gospel-filled lives individually, in community, and on mission."

"Be a Rock" Book Launch

Amidst a culture of confusion and instability, author Dr. Jeffrey Reynolds points us to the Bible to discover the only foundation that does not shift or fail. Becoming a rock in a chaotic and broken world can have a significant and lasting impact for good, both for yourself and for everyone you care about.

You are invited to the home of Vaughn and Jane Dunn, 97 Clapboard Ave. in Greenwich. With holy week beginning the very next day, we will be singing and hearing stories of Palm Sunday hymns and hymns that focus on the passion of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Dr. Bryan Widbin will lead us through an ancient Passover celebration with a light dinner full of meaning, as Jesus and his disciples experienced it in the First Century. Cost is $12 per person. Register on our website.

Prayer Vigil

On the night he was betrayed, Jesus asked his disciples to pray with him through the night. We carry on that tradition today as we remember his sacrifice. Sign up for any hour .

Good Friday Service

A quiet, contemplative service at the hour of Jesus’ death, reflecting on his last words before dying on the cross. Special Kids Church program for 4 years old to 2nd grade, plus childcare for ages three years old and younger. Location: 202 Taconic Road, Greenwich.

He is risen! Three worshipful celebrations of the resurrection of Jesus, all at our Greenwich location: 202 Taconic Road. Includes infant and childcare, K-5th grade Kids Church, and Youth Group for 6-12th grades.


Midnight Run

On April 25, Stanwich Missions is going on a Midnight Run to New York City to minister to the homeless with food, clothing and prayer and you can be part of it. This is a great opportunity to serve as a family!  Take your kids with you when shopping for supplies, or bring them to help sort donations, and show them what “loving your neighbor” looks like.

Here’s how: 

* Donate/prepare food & sort donations 

* We need volunteers to donate food & toiletries, prepare bag lunches, and organize the donations for distribution.  

* Donate clothing and toiletries. 

* Specific Needs: new socks and underwear, hoodies, pants and hats, and TRAVEL SIZE toiletries .


Women's One Day Retreat

Saturday, May 9 from 9am- 3pm

We are so excited to host you  for a day of conversation and prayer as we journey through the Scriptures looking at Jesus’ life of prayer, his teaching on prayer and his invitation to prayer. You will want to bring your bible and a journal.


This year our retreat will be hosted at St. Birgitta in Darien. Registration is now open, space is limited. We can't wait to see you there!














World Vision 6k

Saturday, May 16 at 8am



6 Kilometers is the average distance people in the developing world walk for water. On Saturday, May 16th, thousands of people from around the globe will walk or run 6K to bring life-changing clean water to communities in need. Each participant's $50 registration fee provides life-changing clean water for one person.

Stanwich Church has created a team and hosting a site walk right here at our Greenwich location. Our 6k trail path will expand across all three properties. This is sure to be a fun day for family, friends and for an amazing cause.
