Sundays, October 13, 20 & 27

Greenwich and Stamford

Every Sunday is a good opportunity to bring a friend to church.  But for three Sundays in October, we're going to intentionally welcome people who have never been to a worship service or haven't been in a while. We will have a special sermon series that will include personal testimonies about what it means to be a Christian.

We encourage you to invite a friend, neighbor, or co-worker. Even if only one new person comes to faith through this endeavor, it will be worth all the effort!

Sunday, October 20

(after 10:45 am and 6 pm services)

Greenwich and Stamford

Come and learn more about Stanwich Church, our beliefs, our ministries, our vision - we invite you to join us after the 10:45 and 6pm services to learn more and have your questions answered about the Stanwich Church and how we understand membership.

For us - and for you, we hope - membership at Stanwich means uniting with others who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and who desire to live, learn and grow according to the teachings of the Bible and become an active part of how God is leading among us.

We do not assume that your participation in Discover Stanwich means that you will necessarily choose membership.  Our intention and hope are to provide you with the information you need to prayerfully consider Stanwich Church as your spiritual home.

Sunday, October 20

(after morning services)

Did you know that Stanwich Church was founded in 1731? Our church is 288 years old, and we are still making an impact here in Connecticut and throughout our world. We invite you to see some of the beginning of Stanwich by visiting Emmaus Hall at the Greenwich location to view archives of our church.

We have historical church records, archival documents, books, maps, and other documents on display. We are happy to share what God can do with just a few people almost 250 years ago who have a heart or God. We are excited to be part of this chapter in the churches life.

Saturday, October 26 at 5pm

Join us in celebrating how God is moving through Stanwich to serve a world in need of hope and healing. Our program will feature guest speaker Ashley Hales, author of “Finding Holy in the Suburbs,” who will speak about how each of us can be on mission in the times and places where God has placed us. There will also be a special program for children as well.

A dinner reception will follow, with the opportunity to learn more about our mission partners and their ministries.
