Come join us for Kingdom Come: a six-week in-depth study on the prayer that Jesus taught his disciples to pray. Each week we will cover a different section of the Lord’s Prayer and its role in our spiritual development. Led by Gina Choi, Director of Spiritual Formation.

This will be an interactive teaching over Zoom with opportunities for discussion, activation, and prayer!

Following Christ in an Election Year Study

Wednesdays at 7 PM

Join us on Facebook Live on Wednesday nights at 7 PM starting on September 16 for a study on Titus and 1 Timothy led by Pastor David, our Pastor of Evangelism & Discipleship.

This study will give us practical steps in living out the faith in this election season by taking a look at two of Paul's pastoral epistles. Pastor David will lead us through the history, language, and context in which Paul wrote these extremely practical letters.

You do not have to have a Facebook account to join the discussion.  Just visit facebook.com/stanwichchurch.

Book Donation

Drive

Friday, September 25,

From 9 AM to 7 PM

We will be collecting new and used books suitable for elementary and middle-school children. This is in conjunction with our next outdoor worship night, so if you’re planning on coming to that, you can drop off your donation then!

The books will be distributed through Go the Distance Foundation which works with at-risk youth in Stamford. In addition to encouraging reading and education, the foundation’s purpose is “to serve as a bridge between local law enforcement and at-risk youth to facilitate dialogue, respect and cooperation”. To find out more about this Foundation click here.

A bin will be set up outside the office entrance of the Greenwich church building for contactless drop off. For more information, contact Laura at missions@stanwichchurch.org.

Virtul Run for Water

Sunday, October 4

World Vision and Stanwich are grateful for all who donate or run/walk in this half marathon. This year is a bit more unique in that we will be running "virtually" instead of together on October 4.  Our team is in place, but we still have a long way to go to reach our goal of $40k.

Would you consider donating to clean water for children who desperately need it? Click the link for more information on how to contribute to the Stanwich Team and to help those in need.

New Covenant Cafe

We need baked ziti (simple recipe provided), salad, and desserts.  We've set up a contactless drop-off 9:30 AM on Sunday, October 4 at Stanwich Greenwich location (202 Taconic Road, Greenwich).
