The four Gospels stand at the heart of the Christian faith. They introduce us to Jesus—his words, his actions, his ministry, his death and resurrection; and invite us to become his disciples. This six-week course will provide practical tools for studying the Gospels with greater confidence and depth. The first three weeks will establish the foundations; and each week will be hands-on workshops where we learn by studying Gospel passages together.

Pending the Stamford Campus launch, sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings at the Stamford Campus for 90 minutes, from 6:30 PM - 8 PM, and will be taught by Pastor Chuck.

Join us for our Men’s Fall Gathering where we’ll enjoy great food, meaningful Christian fellowship with the men of Stanwich Church, and a brief teaching. Kids Coat Drive for Pastor Daouda’s Living Water Church in Harlem and Newark, NJ! We are collecting new and gently used coats for kid’s sizes Small (1y/o) to size XL for young adults. Before the cold winter months hit, please help with this coat collection, which will run through November 15th. Coats can be dropped off in the collection bin in Emmaus Hall.

A great majority of our Missions Partners will be with us during both services and available to meet with us in Emmaus Hall during both Coffee Hours. Their energy, inspiration and gratitude will be on full display, so please join us!

Get ready for a fun-filled day in New York City to see a Broadway Show! After the show, we will have some time to walk around and experience the city. Do you know of any students who are looking to get plugged into our wonderful Christian community? This trip is a great opportunity to invite students who don't yet know Jesus to become a part of our faith-filled community. 

This service honors those who have experienced a loss. Whether it is grief from a divorce, losing a job, or the death of a loved one, loss can be particularly challenging at this time of year. Join us as we recall God's gift of hope that can lead to praise, even in a time of sadness.  This invitation is extended to your family and friends.  Please invite others you know who have experienced a loss this year.

When you hear 'Thanksgiving,' you may immediately think about to-do lists, turkey and mashed potatoes, or family coming to town. We ask you to pause for the evening and come to our Thanksgiving Eve service, where we put all the plans and preparation on hold and focus on all that God has done this year. Kids, it's late, so wear your pajamas and get comfy as we come to God before bedtime in the Sanctuary to thank him for everything in our life. Nursery care will be provided.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year as we remember the true gift from God, his son Jesus was born. Stanwich is preparing for our annual Greening event, starting at 9 AM, to deck the halls and grounds of our beautiful worship space! Whether you are an evergreen expert or just an enthusiastic merry-maker, all are invited to join in and help us fill our Church with prayer, twinkling lights, and holiday spirit! This is an intergenerational event. Bring the whole family! Coffee, hot chocolate, and pastries will be served.
