What Is Easter Like at

Stanwich Church?

Following Good Friday, where we remember the love of God that is poured out through Jesus on the cross, on Easter Sunday our sadness is turned to joy as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead and the truth of eternal life.

On Easter we behold God and respond with awe-filled worship, we linger in his presence as his beloved sons and daughters, and we are grateful to belong together as we carry his light into the world.

Where are you located?

We are located on the north side of Greenwich. Just a couple of miles off of exit 31 off the Merritt Parkway. 202 Taconic Road, Greenwich.

What time is service?

Our Easter Services follow our regular Sunday Service schedule at 9 AM and 10:45 AM.

Where do I park?

As you turn in the driveway you'll enter our large parking lot. Keep to the left to find the main entrance to the Sanctuary. Handicap parking is available just past the Sanctuary entrance.

Is there something for my kids?

Intergenerational discipleship is a core aspect of who we are at Stanwich. During our Easter Services our kids (grade 5 and below) and students (grade 6 and above) begin worship in the Sanctuary and are then released to their respective classrooms. Infant and toddler care (age 2 and under) will be available in the nursery.

What does a Typical Service Look Like?

Sunday morning worship services begin with the singing of hymns and praise music, recitation of historic creeds, and the giving of tithes and offerings. We then move into a time of prayer and announcements, followed by a scriptural reading and preaching of the Bible. We celebrate the Lord's Supper (Communion) every week and close with a hymn or song, followed by a time of fellowship and refreshments.

YOUR KIDS WILL HAVE A BLAST!

This Easter your kids will have a blast with our Kids Ministry and Student Ministry! All kids in 5th grade and below will have the opportunity to learn about and meet Jesus with our fun and creative programming led by Miss Tracy. Students in 6th grade and above will participate in their own service led by our Student Ministry team. From sharing the Easter story to egg hunts, your kids will remember the empty tomb and risen King.
