Rev. David Borden was called to Stanwich Church in 2016. He graduated with a degree in History from Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, before earning a Masters of Divinity from Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, New York. While in Seminary, he worked as a Youth Pastor at Living Christ Church and served as an Army Reserve Chaplain. David grew up as a pastor’s kid. Although David spent most of his formative years in Florida, he has lived in six different states. During his teenage and young adult years David ran from his vocational ministry calling. In his sophmore year of college he had a spiritual revelation and committed his life to ministry.
David enjoys hiking and has hiked all 46 of the High Peaks in the Adirondack Region of New York. He also enjoys working on his car, reading history, watching college football and working out.
David and his wife Rachel live in the South End of Stamford.
