Current Sermon Series

The gospel is based in the generosity of God. John 3:16 states, “God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son.”  The Apostle Paul's New Testament letter to the Ephesians describes the generosity of the gospel of Jesus Christ. It reveals that in Christ, we have been adopted, bought, and sealed by the love of God. We have been saved by grace through faith. We were dead but now have been raised with Christ. Why do we need a message like the one found in Ephesians?  Because we need to be reminded that we are not only saved by the generosity of God, we are also called to live generously in light of his gift to us.

Upcoming Events

April 22, 2018, 12:15pm- 1:30pm

Boundaries for Caregivers

One of the greatest challenges for those who are caregivers to those who are in need of constant and consistent attention is to know when and how to create boundaries that allow for physical, emotional and spiritual self-care.  Oftentimes, guilt and doubt surface when boundaries are established - but burn-out is guaranteed when they are not.

If you are in such a season of caregiving, please join us on Sunday, April 22 from 12:15 pm - 1:30 pm at Charis House.  Lunch will be served. Our conversation will be led by Nancy Sadock,  MS, LMFT, AAMFT, from the Greenwich Center for Hope and Renewal.

Please let us know you will attend by contacting Kimberly O’Hara..

Prayer Service

April 28 - 8pm

We will be holding a parishioner-led Prayer Service, meeting downstairs where the Student Ministries room is located starting at 8pm.  Our prayer service will be rooted in total surrender and intimacy to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, unleashing us in transformation, mission, and revival.

Attendees are invited to speak aloud God’s word, worship through occasional song, intercede for our neighbors, the church and people, and nations around the world. Participants should feel free to come and go as desired. All are welcome to invite friends and family from all over as we pray corporately, lifting up our hearts to our Lord. With these prayers, we invite the Holy Spirit to lead us to both receive and give blessings to others through gifts of the Holy Spirit.

The goal is to be a united community, glorifying God.
