MEN

It is our desire to see every man at Stanwich understand and embody true manhood while growing deeper in their faith in God.

Our strategy is to create environments that empower men in this understanding so that they can in turn impact those around them - family, co-workers and friends. Opportunities for men to gather together to build friendships, have fun, and study the Bible are offered weekly, quarterly and annually.

WEEKLY MEN'S BIBLE STUDIES

There are five weekly gatherings for men at Stanwich, including ones in the early morning, lunchtime, and evening, and located in Greenwich, New Canaan and Manhattan.

QUARTERLY MEN'S GATHERINGS

Once per quarter, we enjoy a Saturday evening gathering in the home of one of our church members, David Bennett.  We enjoy good food, drink, and conversation.

ANNUAL MEN'S VERMONT WEEKEND

The Men's Vermont Weekend is our flagship men's event.  Some men consider it an annual pilgrimage, a chance to start each year on the right path. Great skiing is offered, but most men opt for hiking and other activities.

We will return to the Quechee Inn in Vermont.  The Stanwich Men's Vermont Weekend is an annual pilgrimage for men.  It's a chance to reconnect with God and each other in a relaxed, life-giving atmosphere. Activities include hiking and snowshoeing on the wilderness trails, great food and drink, skiing, and access to an athletics club.

Activities:

Wilderness Trails: One of our men will lead hiking and snowshoeing expeditions on local groomed trails.

On-site Gym and Athletics Center: We have optional access to The Quechee Club for recreational purposes.  (Please let Kimberly O'Hara know if you want to add this to your registration).

Spiritual Enrichment:

We also go deeper in our faith.  Pastor Chuck and Pastor Nathan, share testimonies, Bible teaching, and encouragements for life.

Skiing Options:

Ski Quechee (right in town, small but accessible)

Suicide Six: 7 miles
