May 22nd – June 2nd

There are still have 20 spots open. Bryan Widbin notes that May/June trips are ideal for weather and in-season site hours. This year, there are two additions to the tour. For the first time, the tour will
follow the drainage channel walk from the Pool of Siloam to the Temple staircase. For background, visit Widbin’s blog, “It’s Uphill to the Kingdom”. The stairs above the channel are the route taken by the man born blind to the Pool in John 9 and part of the walking tour will follow those same stairs.

Secondly, the tour of Herodium will be more extensive than it has been in the past. Herodium, the burial site of Herod the Great, has been under reconstruction since it’s discovery in April 2007. This is a fabulous site and Chuck found it more interesting and historically intriguing than Masada. Email Genie Wells with interest.
